The premier casino resort location in Pennsylvania, Mount Airy Casino Resort, strengthened its leadership team by announcing a new appointment. The resort revealed Wednesday it hired the services of industry expert Ben Koff as the venue's General Manager and Chief Operating Officer.

In his new position at Mount Airy Casino Resort, Koff will oversee strategic processes related to the casino and resort operations. He will be in charge of guest services, financial performance, marketing, sales, as well as human resources.

As a proven expert in the gaming and hospitality industry, Koff will leverage his experience and seek to elevate the experience for the visitors of the resort. At the same time, he will play a pivotal role in the process of not only meeting but exceeding the expectations of Mount Airy Casino Resort visitors.

Although the appointment was announced this week, the venue explained that approval from the gambling regulator in Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is pending.

Lisa DeNaples, Mount Airy's owner and managing trustee, shared her excitement about the latest announcement in a statement released on January 11, 2023. "Ben's wealth of expertise in the gaming and hospitality industries, coupled with his passion for exceptional service, make him an invaluable asset to lead our executive team," she explained.

Last but not least, DeNaples said: "We are pleased to welcome Ben to the Mount Airy Team and look forward to all he will accomplish as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager."

Currently, Koff holds a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. Additionally, he has an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management. Overall, Koff has more than 16 years of experience within the growing gaming and hospitality vertical.

His professional experience includes different leadership roles within finance and marketing as a part of leading companies within the gaming industry. Koff was a part of major gambling industry giants including Golden Nugget and Caesars Entertainment. Throughout his career, he was also a part of Carnival Corporation and before joining Mount Airy Casino Resort, he was most recently a part of Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort located in Mississippi.

Famous as Pennsylvania's first AAA Four Diamond-rated casino, Mount Airy Casino offers 80 table games and nearly 1,700 slot machines, as well as a sportsbook.
