In the mid-1990s Las Vegas tried to market itself as a family destination. The city's efforts didn't work and it's now trying to embrace an adult audience. Now two downtown casinos have decided that Sin City isn't for people too young to drink and gamble. It's not quite as if kids are not welcome in Las Las Vegans' casinos.

Circa and El Cortez Hotel will be adults-only properties. The D casino has go-go dancers and Binions offers barely dressed dealers wearing bustiers. The street Fremont St. has live music, street performers, scantily clad showgirls, various shirtless Chippendales, and the Naked Cowboy.

El Cortez in Las Vegas has an adults-only policy. It's a traditional gambling house with great gaming odds. The move comes after El Cortz completed a $25 million renovation. The renovation preserved the old Vegas appeal. Las Las has a cannabis-friendly hotel. They want to stay in comfortable rooms. There are some improvements to the casino as part of the renovation, but it's still authentic.
