UPDATE: Winning Powerball ticket sold in Rochester

UPDATE: In an earlier version of this story New York Lottery had provided an incorrect date for the drawing, and thus, the winning numbers were incorrect. The date of the drawing has bee updated along with the correct winning numbers.

A winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Rochester for the Nov. 29 drawing, reports New York Lottery.

The ticket was one of two third-prize tickets. The winning tickets have four matching numbers and the Powerball.

The Rochester ticket was purchased at Lake Stop & Go on Lake Avenue.

The second ticket was purchased in Rosendale a the Stewart’s Shop on Main Streets.

The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on Nov. 29 were 18, 26, 28, 38, 47 and the Powerball was 17.

The jackpot was worth $243 million.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26.

The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.
