Your eyes aren't deceiving you, the Powerball jackpot really is up to $1 billion.

For the second time this year, the drawing has reached a near-record level.

With no grand prize winner from Monday night's Powerball drawing, the jackpot now is worth an estimated $1.2 billion with a cash value of $551.7 million. The drawing is the third largest in the Powerball game and seventh largest in U.S. lottery history, according to powerball.com.

The most recent Powerball jackpot surpasses the July 19 drawing number when a ticket in California won a prize worth $1.08 billion, according to lottery officials.

But what are the other top Powerball jackpots? Here's the list:

10. $687.8 million, Oct. 27, 2018

Two tickets sold in Iowa and New York matched all six numbers in the drawing.

Each ticket was worth an annuitized $343.9 million or $198.1 million cash.

The winning numbers were 08, 12, 13, 19, 27, plus Powerball 04, and Power Play multiplier 3X.

9. $699.8 million, Oct. 4, 2021

A single ticket sold in California matched all six numbers in the drawing with a cash option of $496 million.

The winning numbers were 12, 22, 54, 66 and 69. The Powerball number was 15.

8. $731.1 million, Jan. 20, 2021

A single ticket sold in Maryland matched all six numbers in the drawing with a cash option of $546.8 million.

The winning numbers were 40, 53, 60, 68, 69 plus Powerball 22. The Power Play multiplier 3X.

7. $754.6 million, Feb. 6, 2023

A single ticket in Washington won the Powerball jackpot worth with a cash option of $407.2 million.

The winning numbers were 5, 11, 22, 23, 69 and Powerball 7. The Power Play multiplier was 2X.

6. $758.7 million, Aug. 23, 2017

One lucky ticket sold in Massachusettswon this Powerball jackpot. Mavis Wanczyk, of Chicopee, Massachusetts, claimed the prize worth a lump sum payment of $480,500,936. After taxes, Wanczyk netted $336,350,655 in cash.

The winning numbers were 6, 7, 16, 23 and 26 plus Powerball 4.

5. $768.4 million, March 27, 2019

A single ticket sold in Wisconsin for the Powerball ticket that included a cash option of $477 million.

The winning numbers were 16, 20, 37, 44, 62, plus Powerball 12, and Power Play multiplier 3X.

4. $1.08 billion, July 19, 2023

A single ticket sold in California matched all six numbers for the jackpot drawn earlier this year. The cash option was $558.1 million.

The winning numbers were 7, 10, 11, 13, 24 and Powerball 24. The Power Play multiplier was 2X.

3. $1.2 billion (est.), Oct. 4, 2023

The current jackpot includes a cash option at $551.7 million. The drawing is set for 10:59 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023.

2. $1.586 billion, Jan. 13, 2016

Three tickets matched all six numbers, including ones sold in California, New York and Tennessee.

Lisa and John Robinson, of Munford, Tennessee, chose to receive a lump sum cash payment of $327,835,000 rather than the annuitized amount of $528.8 million. 

1. $2.04 billion, Nov. 7, 2022
