The Pennsylvania Lottery always tells players - “check every ticket, every time.”

While the Keystone State has not had a recent jackpot winner, there have been smaller lottery prizes won by tickets sold in five counties.

The next Mega Millions jackpot on Tuesday, Aug. 1, is estimated to have a value of $1.05 billion.

In recent days, the other smaller prizes won were:

Match 6 Lotto, July 26

A Match 6 Lotto lottery ticket for the Wednesday, July 26, drawing worth $860,000 was sold at Penn National, 720 Bow Creek Road in Grantville, Dauphin County, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.

Penn National will get a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Mega Millions, July 28

During the last Mega Millions drawing on July 28 two tickets sold in Pennsylvania were worth millions.

A ticket worth $5 million was sold in Chester County and a ticket worth $1 million was sold in McKean County.

The Chester County ticket was sold at Thorndale Inn, 430 Bondsville Road, Downingtown. The inn will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling that Mega Millions with Megaplier ticket.

Nittany Mini Mart, 18265 Route 6 in Smethport, McKean County, earned a $5,000 bonus for selling a Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million.

Powerball, July 29

A Powerball with Power Play ticket in the July 29 drawing and worth $150,000 was sold in Schuylkill County.

The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn, 10-25-27-34-38, and the red Powerball 2 to win $150,000, less applicable withholding. The Pennsylvania Lottery said that without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth $50,000. The Power Play multiplier drawn was three.

Central Highway Oil Company, 700 Altamont Boulevard, Frackville, earned a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Cash 5, July 30

A Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket sold for the Sunday, July 30 drawing matched all five balls drawn, 8-27-32-33-37, to win $1,713,561.50 less withholding. Turkey Hill, 276 Route 87, Montoursville, Lycoming County, earns a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners are not known until the prizes are claimed and tickets validated. Lottery winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets should be signed immediately on the back.

Lottery tickets can be purchased online and at retailers. Players must be at least 18 years old. The Pennsylvania Lottery supports programs that benefit older residents.
