Unattended child cases have been a growing problem in Pennsylvania casinos.

268 children were left unattended across 147 incidents in a four-year span at Wind Creek Bethlehem Casino in Pennsylvania. The incidents ranged from one minute to nine hours.

Unattended children are a problem at Pennsylvania Casinos. Last year, a man left his two infants in a car outside a casino. In the Bethlehem casino, there were 43 such incidents between 2021 and 2022. New regulations call for more signs, increased staff training, and mobile patrols. The food court received extra emphasis with a new warning fastened onto every table. PGCB member is not happy with the calm warning.

The PGCB is working to crack down on unattended children in Pennsylvania casinos. Valley Forge Casino Resort pioneered the first attempt. Wind Creek does not use infrared cameras, but it is possible in the future. All unattention cases would be referred to the district attorney's child abuse and sexual assault unit. The district lawyer would welcome the opportunity to talk to Wind creek.
