Pennsylvania has kicked off 2021 with a new monthly record of $80.4 million in online gaming revenue.

Online gaming revenue in Pennsylvania reached a new record of more than $80.4 million in January. The segment eclipsed January 2020's numbers. Hollywood Casino at Penn National was the top performer with $43.6 million. Rivers Casino Philadelphia, Valley Forge Casino and Live! Casino Pittsburgh also had impressive growth. Presque Isle Downs and Casino saw a 1742% increase in revenue year-over-year.

Retail slots, table games and sports wagering were available for 28 days of the 31-day month due to the temporary shutdown until January 4 due the coronavirus restriction measures. Gross revenue from slot machines decreased by 26.05% YoY to $140.7 million, while table game revenue fell by nearly 30% to $50.8 million. Sports wagerering handle was $615.3 million or 12.16% above the December 2020 total.
