Jay Z Ties-up With Caesars for NYC Times Square Casino

Caesars Entertainment and SL Green have inked a partnership with Jay-Z and his world-famous entertainment agency, Roc Nation. The deal is a strategic move in the race for three casino licenses in New York. The applications for the licenses are due on January 6.
Jay Z and Caesars-SLG are planning to build a casino in New York's Times Square. Roc Nation will oversee entertainment programming at 1515 Broadway. The two favorites, Genting-owned Resorts World New. York City and Yonkers’ Empire City Casino, have their licenses in the bag. Caeresars and SLG's bid is for Times. Square, while Wynn Resort-Related Companies are banking on Hudson Yards.
SLG-Caesars is promoting the Caesar Palace Times Square casino project. The project will be a boutique-size casino with eight floors in a 54-story tower. It will also have an 800-room, five-star hotel.
