There is talk of a potential casino in Times Square. Gambling is legal in New York from 2023. Several companies are vying to be the first mover.

Caesars Entertainment announced plans for a casino in the heart of New York City. The casino would be called Caesar Palace Times Square and would have a full-size Broadway theater. It would attract foot traffic and hold regular shows of the Lion King.

Caesars Entertainment is planning to build a casino in Times Square. Many locals are worried that it will bring back some of the bad activities that the city has worked hard to eradicate. The area was once a hot spot for crime, loitering and peep shows.

The government is in the process of awarding new licenses and approving projects for a land-based casino in Manhattan. MGM, Resorts World, and Wynn Resort are all reported to be in a race to develop the first casino.
