Showing no signs of slowing down, Light & Wonder’s 88 Fortunes advanced into the second half of 2022 in the same way it tackled the first six months; dominating iGaming Tracker’s US slots rankings.

IGT’s Cleopatra jumped to second place in the rankings in August, with Fortune Coin also rising by one place from fourth to third.

Previous second place incumbent, IGT’s Cash Eruption, could only manage sixth place, surpassed in August by ReelPlay’s Hypernova Megaways and Evolution’s Divine Fortune in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Light & Wonder’s 88 Fortunes and Evolution’s Divine Fortune were the only slots to retain their respective July positions going into August.

Everi’s Cash Machine slot was the big winner in August, climbing nine places from 19 to 10 position, just ahead of August’s other big riser IGT’s Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin, which jumped four places to seventh.

August’s big faller was Light & Wonder’s Jin Ji Bao Xi Endless Treasure, which dropped five places, and the same operator’s Hurricane Horse slot continued its yo-yo-style rise and fall in the rankings, dropping two places to 14.

There were a total of four new entrants in August; Light & Wonder’s Dancing Drums Prosperity and Carnival Cow Coin Combo as well as Everi’s Smokin Triples and Double Jackpot Gems.

A total of 28 sites were scrutinized as part of the August tri-state sample, including 148 webpages and 1,281 games.

Games are ranked by their position throughout the month across all online casino sites in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Only the ‘main’ page of the casinos is taken into account and the top 20 most prominent positions on those pages.

The ranking is calculated as the total number of hours the game was in the top 20 positions throughout the month. Each casino page is tracked at least once every 24 hours. Table games such as roulette and blackjack are excluded from the rankings, as are live casino games.
