(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rivers Casino Philadelphia announces its August promotions and entertainment. Guests can go to Martorano’s Prime restaurant, book a trip to Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas, and go see Marcus Miller and Sergio Mendes perform in The Event Center at Fishtown’s casino.
Martorano’s Prime Is Now Open and Taking Reservations
Award-winning restaurateur and South Philly native Steve Martorano has come home to personally serve his world-famous meatballs for all of Philadelphia. Martorano’s Prime, an Italian-American Steakhouse, is now open and accepting online reservations at OpenTable.com.Macaroni lovers will enjoy Martorano’s favorite and always popular linguine and clams, spaghetti carbonara, famous meatball with Sunday gravy and Martorano salad, and spicy penne vodka. Traditional steakhouse fans will savor mouthwatering chops, which are first cut; the steaks are always prime. Veal chop parmesan, filet Sinatra and lobster francaise are among the highlights.Hours of operation for Martorano’s Prime are Thursday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. The bar will remain open until 12:30 a.m. The main restaurant seats approximately 200 guests with an additional 24-seat private dining room. Table Games Play to Eat — On Mondays in August, all Rush Rewards members who play a table game with their Rush Rewards Card can earn a $20 dining credit. To qualify, Rush Rewards members must play with their Rush Rewards Card and earn 300 Tier Points at any table game.
Young at Heart — On Wednesdays in August from noon to 8 p.m., Rush Rewards members ages 50 and older can swipe their Rush Rewards Card at a kiosk to win free swag or Free Slot Play; from 8 a.m. to noon, eligible members can receive a free small coffee and a donut at Dunkin’.

Sicilian Slice — Celebrity cook Steve Martorano brings fresh pizza by the slice to Rivers Casino. August’s featured item is a pepperoni slice for $12. Sicilian Slice features pizzas that are generously topped with mouthwatering tomato sauce and premium mozzarella cheese. The grab-and-go outlet is open Wednesday through Sunday, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Dunkin’ — Rivers runs on Dunkin’ with great-tasting donuts and freshly brewed coffee. This Fishtown location opens daily at 6 a.m. in the casino’s Marketplace.
Mian — August’s daily special is lobster fried rice for $29. Mian is open Sunday through Thursday from noon to midnight, and Friday and Saturday from noon to 2 a.m.
Jack’s Bar + Grill — Enjoy a large variety of American dishes along with fantastic waterfront views. Throughout August, Jack’s opens daily at 4 p.m. and closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, it closes at 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Jack’s Bar opens at noon daily and closes at 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and closes at 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
