Red Rock Resorts Inc. has cleared a major hurdle in its plan to bring a new gambling-friendly development to the city of North Las Vegas. The North Vegas Planning Commission last week approved the firm’s plan for a 600-room venue with a 75,700 sq ft casino to be built on a 67-acre plot of land situated on the north side of the Clark County community.

G2E and SAGSE's Platinum Club program features Las Vegas tours with stops at Circa, RWLV and Red Rock Casino. The tours will be offered free of charge to SagSE Platinum members by invitation only. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a federal judge's ruling in Nevada requiring Station Casinos’ Red Rock Casino to bargain with the Culinary and Bartenders unions. The union has been trying to unionize about 1,350 employees at the Las Vegas-based casino company for years. Union leaders accused Redrock of undercutting a union election by enhancing health benefits and retirement accounts just days before the vote.

Station Casinos announced the return of an internship program that allows students to live and work at one of its casinos all summer. The 12-week internship starts in the summer of 2022 and pays $15 an hour for a workload that tops out at 40 hours a week.

The Culinary and Bartenders Union is pleased with the federal court ruling. The union wants to unionize about 1,350 employees at Station Casinos. Station has resisted unionization efforts for years. A National Labor Relations Board lawsuit is pending. The company is required to hold mandatory meetings on company time over the next two weeks. It is also required that the order can be read aloud in English and Spanish to all employees. Red Rock Resort opened in 2006. Its 800-room resort is near the Redrock Canyon National Conservation Area.

Red Rock Casino & Resort ordered to negotiate with two casino workers unions. The company is appealing the order. Red Rock rolled out generous benefits for its 1,350 workers in 2019. The RTC CEO MJ Maynard hopes the service can help alleviate congestion in an already busy corridor benefiting both residents and tourists.

RTC partners with the Las Vegas Raiders to launch Game Day Express bus service to all ten home games. The service offers five locations around the valley to park and ride. Riders can ride with Game day for $2 per person each way. RTC offers similar service at T-Mobile Arena for Vegas Golden Knights games and it's been successful.
