A lottery player in northern B.C. is taking home a whopping $5.8 million after last night’s Lotto 6/49 draw.

The ticket matched all six numbers, along with a ticket purchased in Ontario, to split the $11-million jackpot for exactly $5,790,419.90 each.

The winning jackpot numbers were: 7, 18, 19, 38, 42, and 46. The odds of winning a Lotto 6/49 jackpot are 1 in 13,983,816.

A ticket purchased online also scored the $1 million Guaranteed Prize Draw.

All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize. The specific retail location where the winning lottery ticket was purchased, and the lottery winners’ name(s) will be announced after the winner has come forward to claim their prize.

So far in 2021, B.C. lottery players have redeemed more than $67.5 million in winnings from Lotto 6/49.
