The next Powerball drawing will take place on August 2 at 10:59 p.m. ET, and the jackpot is at a robust $95 million.

Since a California resident won the mega-jackpot of over $1 billion a couple of weeks ago, the Powerball jackpot has reset and is steadily increasing.

The most-recent Powerball drawing went without a winner after numbers 2, 11, 48, 58, and 65 were drawn, as well as 13 in the red Powerball slot. That elevated the jackpot from $74 million up to where it sits today.

Powerball drawings occur every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday evening. Below, you can see exactly where to watch drawings on your local TV news station:

Notably, you are required to purchase your ticket(s) prior to the cut-off at 9:59 p.m. ET. You need to be at least 18 years old and located within the state of Pennsylvania to play games online and win prizes.

To play the Powerball, begin by either visiting the PA Lottery website or one of your local PA Lottery retailers like a convenient store, gas station, or a supermarket.

Then, either have the terminal randomly select your numbers for you or pick five numbers from 1 to 69 and one number from 1 to 26, which will serve as your Powerball selection. A traditional Powerball ticket will cost $2.

You always have the option to play the Power Play for an additional $1 also. The Power Play gives you the chance to multiply any non-jackpot prize. A number (2, 3, 4, 5, or 10) will be drawn prior to the regular numbers drawing, and this will be the Power Play.

Lastly, there is a Double Play option with Powerball that is an add-on feature which allows you to increase your potential winnings. The top prize for the Double Play feature is $10 million—not too shabby.

If you buy your Powerball ticket(s) online at the PA Lottery website, most of your potential prizes will be paid automatically to your lottery account.

However, you are required to fill out a Claim Form if your Powerball prize is of $600 or more. Know that your prize of $2,500 or more needs to be paid by the lottery itself. Whereas, prizes between $600 and $2,500 can be claimed with a Claim Form at a local retailer.
