You must be at least 18 years of age and physically present in the state of Pennsylvania to play lottery games online and collect prizes.

Playing the Powerball is very easy. Begin by either visiting the PA Lottery website or a local lottery retailer (e.g., grocery store, convenient store, etc.).

Then, choose five numbers from 1 to 69 and one number from 1 to 26, which will serve as your Powerball selection. Or, you always have the option to allow the terminal to randomly select your numbers for you using the Quick Pick tool.

Standard Powerball tickets cost $2 a piece, but you can participate in the Power Play add-on feature for an additional $1 per ticket.

In doing so, you are giving yourself the opportunity to increase any non-jackpot prize that you garner.

Prior to the regular Powerball drawing, a separate number (2, 3, 4, 5, or 10) will be drawn—the Power Play number. If you win a non-jackpot prize, your prize will be multiplied by the Power Play number that was drawn.
