In August, gross gaming revenue for iGaming was more than $103.2 million. It was the sixth straight month above $100 million, down 1. 2% from July. Taxable igaming revenue was up 58.6% on last August.

August was the sixth month in a row with over $100M in online poker revenue. Mount Airy’s Poker Stars took in more than $1.9M, Harrah”s (WSOP.com) collected $819,249, Hollywood (BetMGM) took $345,983 and Rivers Philadelphia (Borgata) kicked in $117,440.

The taxable revenue from August 2021 for sports betting was $18 million, compared to $ 18.2 million in August of last year. GGR was $25.3 million. The total sports wagering handle was 14% higher than July. FanDuel Sportsbook accounted for $137. 3 million and The Meadows $81.4 million; together they owned 62.7% of the market. Online sports betters made $22 million compared with $3.5 million from retail.
VGTs had total August revenue of more than $3.6 million from 290 machines at 58 locations. Fantasy sports had revenue $1.1 million, down 24.5% from a year ago.
