Michigan Operators Roll Out 10,000 Slots In December
Super Slots

Michigan online casinos are tirelessly growing their slot portfolios, and December will offer players access to a record-breaking 10,000 titles. The share of jackpot slots at last count surpassed 1,300 slots for the last month of the year.

The huge selection of games is even more exceptional, considering the inventory is a product of only 15 operators holding licenses in the Great Lakes State. The last month of 2023 will achieve a historic high, taking into account that no other month has reached over 10.000 games.

Four Operators Hold a Lion Share of the Market

Operators have always strived to diversify their lobbies, something evident from their large catalog of games. The numbers have been impressive, with  frequently nearing the 10.000 range. The count reached 9,685 games for November, which was a record at the time. However, a new historic record was achieved at the start of this month, with official numbers indicating players can enjoy 10.253 thematic slots acquired from numerous renowned software vendors.

However, the game distribution is not equal across the gaming landscape. Not every operator contributes its fair share towards the record-breaking figure for the state. BetMGM and DraftKings are responsible for 26% of the overall offering of slots. BetKings provides 1,360 titles, while DraftKings packs its lobby with 1.318 games.

Two other brands are over the 1,000 mark, with BetRivers offering 1,288 games, while WynnBet is not lagging by much at 1,240 slots available in its lobby. Understandably, top brands such as FanDuel and Caesars, renowned for their sportsbooks, do not prioritize casino games and have a smaller slots inventory.

FanDuel is entertaining players with 855 games, ranking 6th by number of offered slots, but it's 4th among platforms with jackpot titles offering 142 games. Caesars provides 147 games, and at the bottom of the list for December is the recently opened Hollywood Casino with 125 slots.

Balance of Classic and New Titles

A deeper dive into the data indicates that the four brands with the largest inventory of jackpot slots, BetMGM, DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetRivers, are also the four operators with the highest revenues in the state. These brands collectively have generated $2 billion over their lifetime in the Great Lakes State.

Engaging games are only part of their appeal. Players have flocked to these brands for the generous  and reliable native apps. Slot games have always been eligible for bonuses, and operators strive to include more games in these programs to increase long-term profitability. Some staple developers distributing games include NetEnt, IGT, Red Tiger, AGS, Everi, Lightning Box, and more.

Players are equally interested in playing classic titles such as Starburst, Cash Machine, Cleopatra, Double Lotus, and new trendy releases such as Buffalo. The market is not devoid of choices, and the number of available slots will continue to grow as online casinos work to be more competitive.
