Super Slots

The popular UK-based software vendor 1X2 Network announced its collaboration with Michigan online casino BetRivers. Players from the Wolverine State will now have an opportunity to play games from 1X2 Network's portfolio. Among the numerous titles available through the 1X2 Network portfolio, a few standout games include Wolf Strike, Maverick Crashout, Eagle Strike, and 1 Million Megaways.

1X2 Network, a leading software vendor, secured its MGCB supplier license in August of 2023. While it had a distribution deal with Nevada-based casino game provider Light & Wonder to offer its games to U.S. operators, its recent launch in Michigan via BetRivers is a significant milestone, marking 1X2 Network's independent entry into the U.S. market.

The CEO of 1X2 Network, Kevin Reid, hailed the launch as a landmark occasion for the provider via the official press release. At the same time, Reid recognized Michigan as one of the best markets in the United States and BetRivers as one of the most innovative operators.

BetRivers has a reputation as one of the with the largest slots inventory of about 1,200 titles and a habit of adding new games every week. BetRivers' CEO Richard Schwartz also shared Kevin Reid's excitement for the new cooperation, expressing happiness to be 1X2 Network's first official partner in North America and make its unique game portfolio available to players.

Provider With Diverse Game Portfolio

The portfolio of 1X2 Network consists of about 200 slots from several game studios operating under the umbrella of 1X2 Network. The four leading developers include studios Prospect Gaming, Ad Lunam, Iron Dog, and 1X2 Gaming. The UK-headquartered software vendor has been active in the iGaming industry since 2002, and its casino gaming endeavors have been recognized with multiple awards, such as the 2020 EGA Game of the Year Award.

Compared to other modern developers, 1X2 Network doesn't specialize in a niche sector of the iGaming industry. Aside from slots and table games, it offers virtual sports games and instant win games. This software vendor constantly assimilates smaller game studios into its network and grows its portfolio of games.

The Michigan Gaming Control Board license is only the most recent supplier license in a string of certificates secured by the 1X2 Network. These include a Malta Gaming Authority, United Kingdom Gaming Commission, and gaming licenses issued by the agencies from Gibraltar and Alderney.

BetRivers Is One of the Best Michigan Operators

The UK software vendor decided to enter the US market through Michigan because this is one of the largest iGaming markets in North America. In 2023, the combined revenue for all 15 license operators in the Great Lakes State was $1.9 billion. According to revenue, BetRivers has consistently been the fourth-best online casino in Michigan, and players have appreciated its large game lobby and competitive  deals.

According to some news reports, BetRivers’ parent company, Rush Street Interactive, is considering selling its online gambling operation. Industry experts think BetRivers will continue operating in Michigan even if the sale happens.
