A Lapeer County woman has won more than $700,000 playing the Michigan Lottery.

The 55-year-old woman, who chose to remain anonymous, felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulders after winning a $774,423 Money Match Fast Cash jackpot.

"I don't usually play Fast Cash, but my friend loves the Fast Cash games and told me about them, so I decided to give one a try," the woman told the Michigan Lottery. "I looked the ticket over when I got home and was in awe when I realized how much I'd won. All I could think was:'This can't be real!' I called my friend right away to tell him the good news."

The winning ticket was bought at Bryan's Supermarket, in North Branch. After visiting the Lottery headquarters to claim her big prize, the woman plans to complete some home improvements, take a trip, and then save the rest of the winnings.

"Winning is amazing and feels like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders," she said.

Fast Cash games are a series of instant-win games that print from terminals at Lottery retailers and offer a progressive jackpot that can be won instantly. Each ticket gives players a chance to win all or part of the jackpot and can be purchased at any retailer or online at MichiganLottery.com.
