Grand View Research projects that the online gambling market will be worth over $100 billion by 202. Online gambling is legal in Goa, Daman and Sikkim, but it's illegal in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Karnataka and Tamil Nadu banned online gaming in 2020, though the Supreme Court struck down the ban. The trend in India is mobile gaming. The current law only regulates gambling activities in three states. Offshore online casinos are allowed to offer their services in the states where they are regulated. They are required to accept Indian Rupees as a payment method.
