Kangwon Land Incorporated plans to expand the gaming floor within its Kangwonland Casino property by 10% to 166,690 sq ft. It also plans on increasing the aggregate capacity within the facility’s bars and restaurants by 71.4%.
Kangwon Land Casino is located in rural Gangwon Province 93 miles from Seoul. It opened in 2000 and offers 169 slots, 161 gaming tables and 1,191 'video game' units.
Kangwon Land Incorporated has set aside $23.69 million for the expansion and remodelling of its Kangwonland Casino enterprise. The completion of this campaign is dependent on the various schedules of any contractors it may engage.
Kangwon Land Incorporated plans to restart running 32 dormant gaming tables within its Kangwonland Casino.
Kangwon Land Incorporated will keep its current operating arrangements until at least February 20. The maximum daily visitation limit is 3,000 people.
Kangwon Land Casino accounted for nearly 66% of South Korea's most recent aggregated annual gross gaming revenues of some $984 million. The state-run property's tally of approximately $644.8 million represented a boost of 74.7% when compared with 2020.
