Clayton Mason has been promoted to the position of Chief Financial Officer at Four Winds Casinos. He succeeds Dan Weindruch, who is retiring after 14 years in the CFO role. Mason joined Four winds in 2007 and has held various positions since. He is grateful to Chairman Wesaw and the Pokagon Gaming Authority for their confidence in him. The tribe has four casinos across two states. It is also pleased that Mason will assume the role of COO.

Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians is celebrating a construction milestone this Tuesday. The date marks the installation of the final steel beam of a 23-story hotel under construction at its Four Winds Casino in South Bend, Indiana. With more than 300 rooms, it will be the largest hotel in the region, surpassing the Doubletree Hotel’s downtown location. It is set to become the second tallest building in town. The Michigan-based tribe first received approval for Class III gaming earlier this year. In May, the tribe signed the state's first tribal gaming compact with Governor Eric Holcomb.

Four Winds Casino introduced class III gaming on August 5th. The casino is also going through renovations. There are currently around 200 workers at the casino. They need more people to apply. The expansion of the floor is scheduled for fall 2022. Construction for the hotel tower is still under construction. It will be complete by the first quarter of 2023. Indiana tribal casino adds Class III gaming. Four Winds South Bend casino rolled out Las Vegas-style gaming on August 5, 2021. The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians finalized a Class 3 gaming compact with the state earlier in the year. The upgrade allows the tribe to add house-banked table games such as blackjack, craps and roulette and more sophisticated slots.

The Four Winds Casino in South Bend, Indiana has had its gaming license upgraded. The new license allows the casino to offer Las Vegas-style gaming such as table gaming like craps, blackjack, and roulette. It also allows for slot machines. Construction is underway on a 23-story hotel set to be competed in the fall of next year. The casino will be sharing 8-percent of its revenue generated with the state. A million dollars will go to the Pokagon Indiana Educational Fund.

Fourwinds South winds expansion includes construction of a 23-story hotel tower with 317 rooms, including 83 suites. Construction is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2023.

Indiana casinos take steps to ensure safety of guests and staff for Monday reopening. The first phase of the reopens will be limited, with fewer slot machines and limited table games. Popular features including poker, Pai Gow rooms, buffets, coat checks and valet service won't be available. There will also be no concerts, nightclubs, live events, promotions or food and drink on the casino floor. All guests will need to wear masks and they will have to undergo a daily health screening. Blue Chip Casino Hotel and Spa has been cleaning and sanitizing. markers indicating the required 6 feet of social distancing have been placed on casino floors.

New gaming options at South Bend tribal casino OK'd by Indiana lawmakers. Four Winds could offer slot machines, table games and sports wagering at the South Bank casino. The compact also freezes state gaming law within 50 miles of the casino in exchange for an exclusivity agreement. Majestic Star will move to the Hard Rock Casino in Gary. The Compact sets a limit of 3,403 gaming positions at Four winds. It's equal to maximum number of positions allowed at Horseshoe Casino, Hammond. Other Northwest Region casinos can't leave their dockside footprint.

All Four Winds Casinos properties are set to reopen one week from today, June 15th. There will be no smoking indoors, no valet services in the parking lot, and no more than four people at a time in elevators. All guests and employees will wear masks. Thermal imaging cameras will take the body temperatures of guests. Plexiglass dividers will separate players on some of the more popular slots. Every other slot machine will also be taken out of service. The Four winds closed 83 days ago with a staff of 2,500. About 1,800 people will come back on the payroll by the reopening.
