As the number of legal online gambling platforms in the U.S. has grown considerably over the last several years, the industry has become increasingly competitive. In order to keep up with consumer demand and become a leading provider in the country, companies around the world are developing technologies that not only make the gambling experience safer for users but also enhance the level of gameplay. One company that is doing just that is Tipico.

Established in Europe in 2004, the operator has grown to become the leading sports betting provider in Germany and one of the top sports betting companies worldwide. Headquartered in Malta, the company’s digital and mobile betting entertainment offering currently covers 30 different sports and is now a licensed, legal U.S. sportsbook in Iowa, Ohio, Colorado and New Jersey.

Growing U.S. Presence

Following approval from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) in November 2021, the operator’s online casino launched in the Garden State. The move that extended its U.S. footprint also grew its product portfolio, being the second asset in the company’s proprietary suite developed in-house for the US market by Tipico USA Technology via its first location in the country, in Hoboken.

The number of NJ online casinos that are legal and licensed to operate in the northeastern U.S. state has grown to 30. In 2013, the Garden State became the very first state in the U.S. to legalize online gambling and is now at the forefront of the industry. The leading status of the state’s gambling landscape likely contributed to Tipico’s decision to launch a new and improved platform for New Jersey’s online casino players to enjoy.

Enhanced Casino Platform

Users are now able to enjoy 50 percent faster processing speeds and withdrawal speeds that have increased by 7x. The improvements make the European sports betting and iGaming company among the fastest casino platforms in the U.S. Customers not only have access to personalized content that is based on information accumulated by a real-time data engine, they are also able to play as many as four games simultaneously courtesy of new video animations.

The iGaming platform also makes 707 games available to users via Android and desktop, with those utilizing Apple’s iOS mobile operating system having up to 441 games to choose from. Meanwhile, partnerships with company’s like White Hat Gaming and Konami have bolstered the online casino’s diverse gaming catalog, which includes player favorite slot machine titles such as Peaky Blinders and Dynamite Dash. Also available are classics like roulette and blackjack.

New Jersey’s Lucrative Gaming Market

According to a recent report published by boutique research and consulting firm Eilers & Krejcik Gaming, LLC ranking the performance of U.S. casino apps, the operator’s old casino app beat out BetMGM, Barstool and DraftKings in the U.S. market. That’s pretty impressive considering it’s been less than two years since Tipico launched its online offering.

As stated, operating in New Jersey’s gaming market continues to drive profits for the company that is steadily growing. According to the DGE, Casinos and their partners reported internet gaming win of $163.8 million for September 2023, an increase of 21.1 percent when compared to the $135.2 million for the same period the year prior. For the year-to-date period, casino and their partners reported internet gaming win of $1.41 billion, which reflects an improvement of 15.4 percent when compared to the $1.22 billion for the same year-to-date period in 2022.
