Three Station Casinos' venues to remain closed in Nevada, no reopening date

losed since March 17, 2020, the Fiesta Henderson casino and hotel has joined siblingStation Casinos’ resorts Texas Station and Fiesta Rancho in remaining shuttered for the foreseeable future. The Henderson casino received unanimous approval from Henderson’s City Council to maintain its non-operational status until December 31, 2021, as reported by Eater Las Vegas.
The two North Las Vegas venues both applied to extend their own year-long closure until June 4, 2022.
Station Casinos once again cited “uncertain economic conditions” across Nevada for the closure and said “there is no known reopening date at this time” for all three locations.
This week, Texas Station and Fiesta Rancho have officially applied for “non-operational status” and notified the City of North Las Vegas “there is no known re-opening date at this time.”
Beginning June 4, both casino are seeking to place their “non-restricted gaming, non-restricted gaming liquor and full liquor off-sale business licenses” on-hold for a second year, citing Nevada’s “uncertain economic conditions.” The City of North Las Vegas can approve the mothballing for a maximum of two years in a row.
The company's Boulder Station, Sunset Station, and Santa Fe Station, Palace Station, Wildfire Gaming, Green Valley Ranch, and Red Rock Resort have all returned to business.
