Boyd Gaming’s Main Street Station hotel-casino in Las Vegas is open for business for the first time since March 2020.

Main Street Station hotel-casino in downtown Las Vegas has reopened its doors on Wednesday at 6 am. The Eastside Cannery remains closed. Boyd Gaming's other downtown Vegas properties are still open for business. Sam's Town casino is performing well, but it's not clear when it will be reopening.

Main Street Station casino has reopened. Other casinos in Southern Nevada are still closed. The Palms is in the middle of being sold to the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. Fiesta Rancho and Texas Station renewed their non-operational status through June 4, 2022. Fiesta Henderson has permission to stay at non operating status until the end of 2021. Northern Nevada casinos closed permanently last year due to COVID-19 pandemic.

All of Nevada's 17 counties will have to adhere to an indoor mask mandate by the end of this week. Some establishments and events require people to be fully vaccinated in order to gain entry. The state ran a vaccination incentive lottery, with a Las Vegas man winning the $1m jackpot.
