The mayor is pushing for expanding gaming options within the five boroughs. The gaming commission will decide on the location. It will create thousands of good-paying jobs and billions in economic activity for the city and state.

There are two potential locations for full casinos in New York City: Empire City Casino in Yonkers and Resorts World Casino at Aqueduct in Queens. Some officials representing parts of Manhattan don't want their borough to be chosen. Some of the Manhattan locations suggested include the Water Club in Kips Bay, on top of Saks Fifth Avenue in midtown and Time Square.Staten Island hasn't been ruled out as a possible site for a casino. If the third license is granted, lawmakers are stumped for where the casino would be built.
