Nevada casinos fell $4 million short of tying the state’s single-month gaming revenue record during March. Las Vegas Strip casinos recorded their highest revenue month of all time. Last year, Nevada casinos collected a record $13.4 billion in gaming revenues. The gaming industry in Clark County recorded a single month record of almost $1.2 billion. The state's gaming activity and consumer behavior remains consistent across the majority of markets. In March, slot machines produced a 16.8 percent increase in revenue.

Washoe County casinos took in $84.7 million in revenue during March. Reno casinos collected almost $59.8 million. South Lake Tahoe casinos reversed a two-month gaming revenue slide and took $25.4 million during the month.

Nevada sportsbooks missed the $1 billion mark in wagers for the second straight month. They took in $863 million in March.

Harry Reid International Airport has served 10.7 million passengers in the first three months of 2022. Southwest Airlines remains the airport’s busiest air carrier. Direct international airline service between seven countries accounted for 154,000 passengers. Overseas international flights to Las Vegas were not available until November.
