SPRINGFIELD — Thanks to a cyberattack that foiled a full accounting, MGM Springfield reported just $17.4 million in gross gambling revenue for September in figures released Monday by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.

That figure was based only on slot machine data recorded in the Gaming Commission’s central monitoring system and on revenue from table games like poker and roulette through Sept. 6.
