Medan ● Wed, August 31 2022Police are still hunting a man suspected of controlling an illegal online gambling ring based in North Sumatra, who is believed to have fled to Singapore.
The man, who goes by the name Apin BK, has been on a North Sumatra Police wanted list since Aug. 24. He is registered as a resident of Deli Serdang on the outskirts of the North Sumatra provincial capital of Medan.
The police raided Apin’s home in Deli Serdang on Aug. 19 to arrest him, only to find that neither Apin nor his family were at the address. Investigators later received information from the Medan Immigration Office that Apin and his family had fled to Singapore.
