The UAE's tourism announced the formation of a new Department of Entertainment and Gaming Regulation on Tuesday. Wynn Resorts and UAE developer Marjan announced a partnership to build a 1,000-room resort on the man-made island of Al Marjans near Dubai. The resort is scheduled to open sometime in 2026. Caesars Palace opened in Dubai in November without a casino.
Koi Nation and Chickasaw Nation are planning to build a 200-room casino near Windsor, California. Chicka's operates 23 casinos in Oklahoma. The property will employ more than 1,100 full-time workers. Koi Nation is facing pushback from neighbors and a tribe that already operates a casino in the area.
Station Casinos offers paid summer intern positions at Stations Casino in Las Vegas. The position includes airfare to Vegas, housing, and living costs. Last year more than 2,000 students applied for 11 slots.
