Elray Resources Inc. has acquired Online Casino Crypto Technology from Luxor Capital LLC. The technology will enable Elray to build and supply full turnkey Crypto technology systems to online crypto gaming operators. The global crypto gambling industry is predicted to reach $93 billion by 2024. Since 2014, players have wagered more than 5.4 billion dollars in Bitcoin. 60% of all Bitcoin transactions are related to gambling. Bitcoin casinos have many advantages over traditional casinos, such as faster payments, improved security, and better transparency. Elrays will provide online casinos and crypto game technology to the online casino operators, as well as exclusive distribution agreement with Golden Matrix Group Inc., which will sell its content.

The Gambling Commission has published the data for the second quarter of the 2022-23 financial year. The data shows declines in almost all areas of market. Online GGY for this segment was down 6% to £452m. Slots, other gaming including casino fell 5%, poker and esports betting Ggy also fell. OTC GGy fell 15% and self-service betting terminals 3%.

The online gambling industry is growing rapidly and is expected to continue to grow at a high-double-digit CAGR for at least the next 5 years. The industry expects to see an increasing level of profitability as it grows due to leverage of scale and less need for promotional activities.
