New York City May Get 3 More Casinos Soon

The odds always look good for the house and the odds of getting a few more casinos south of the Hudson Valley look pretty good too.

Online sports betting took off this year and there are several sites live right now that allow online gambling and there are more on the way.

How often do you gamble online or go to a casino? According to American Gaming, almost half of the country has a positive view of legal gambling. Almost 50% of Americans visit a casino at least once a year. Casinos aren't just for gambling. They offer great food and entertainment options as well. Casinos also create jobs and careers as well.

If you want to gamble here in the Hudson Valley most people take a drive over to Resorts World Catskills in Monticello, New York.

Could New York City be getting more casinos approved in the next couple of years?

According to Play NY, Governor Kathy Hochul has finalized New York State's budget and plans to expand the gaming industry. The budget reportedly authorizes three more gaming licenses to be issued for down-state casinos. According to the New York Post, The Hard Rock Cafe is currently one of them that is trying to get one.
