A LUCKY Brit has come forward to claim an eye-watering £3.8 MILLION National Lottery jackpot.

Lotto operators Camelot confirmed the mega-scoop was for the February 25 draw.

The grand prize - exactly £3,800,000 - was claimed by a single ticket-holder.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “We’re delighted that this fantastic Lotto jackpot has been claimed.

"Our focus is now on supporting this jackpot ticket-holder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their truly life-changing win.

“This is now the sixth lucky Lotto jackpot multi-millionaire created so far in 2023.

"Two lucky ticket-holders shared the £12M jackpot in the draw on 28 January, following on from a very happy start to the new year for a single ticket-holder who scooped the £4M jackpot on 7 January.

“Add in the big wins of single ticket-holders who took home jackpot wins of £7.6M in the draw on 11 February, £5.3M from the draw on 22 February and this £3.8M prize and a total of over £32M in jackpot prize money has been won by Lotto players already this year.”

Subject to validation the prize will then be paid at an appointment with one of Camelot’s Winners’ Advisers.

Players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk.

Players can also buy and check tickets in retail, online via the app or website.

You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you're a winner.
