One lucky Brit has scooped tonight's £7.4million National Lottery just in time for Christmas.

Tonight's winner matched all of the numbers, which were: 01, 03, 05, 17, 50, 52 and the bonus number was 11.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “What amazing news, one ticket-holder has won tonight’s fantastic £7.4M Lotto jackpot.

"This is the fourth Lotto jackpot won in November – after one lucky ticket-holder scooped the £12.8M ‘Must Be Won’ jackpot in the Lotto draw on 2 November and another took home the £3.8M jackpot on 5 November.

"The third big win this month was in the draw on 12 November where the £4M Lotto jackpot was won by a single ticket-holder.

"Players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call to claim this amazing prize.

“Thanks to National Lottery players, more than £30M is generated every week for Good Causes across the country.

"This supports everything from local projects making a difference where you live, to our nations’ athletes at the Commonwealth Games.”

Tonight's lucky Brit is now richer than Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, who is estimated to be worth £4.9million.

They will now be able to buy a new home, car and even take a luxury holiday without making a dent. Even better, their Christmas shopping budget is now much bigger.

Once the ticket has been validated and paid, the ticket-holder will then decide whether or not to go public and share their news.

Several people have so far scooped huge wins this month with more than £20 million in jackpot prize money handed out to three ticket-holders.

On top of the £4 million win, another lucky ticket-holder scooped the £12.8million jackpot in the Lotto Must Be Won draw on 2 November.

Another winner picked up the £3.8million jackpot in the Bonfire Night Lotto draw.

Both of them have since been claimed.

Players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket.

Also this month a lucky ticket holder in California bagged an incredible $2.04 billion (£1.76 billion) Powerball prize win.

It comes after married couple Joe and Jess Thwaite scooped £184million on EuroMillions to become the UK's biggest ever winners earlier this year.

To date, over £46billion has been raised for National Lottery Good Causes, with more than 670,000 individual grants awarded.
