State Rep. Bob Rita wants to introduce internet casino gaming to Illinois. He filed HB 3142 on Thursday. It would allow a casino or racetrack to offer Internet gaming. The bill proposes a 12% tax on adjusted gross gaming revenue. Sports betting in Illinois was legalized in June 2019. It has generated more than $125 million in operator revenue and nearly $19 million for Illinois since launching in March 2020.

They are planning to launch their presence at the end of January. iGaming is a legal in New York, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania.
