Taking a cue from its natural surroundings, the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas just completed a full remodel of all 424 guest rooms and luxury suites. The goal of the resort’s redesign was to bring the soft desert colors in.

“Serenity is just steps away from the energy of Las Vegas,” Konrad Gstrein, the resort’s general manager and regional vice president, told Travel + Leisure. “Our destination is home to some of the most scenic, awe-inspiring wonders in the country – including Red Rock National Conservation Area and the Grand Canyon. As such, we were inspired by the morning light of the Mojave Desert to provide our guests with an unparalleled tranquil escape. This redesign offers a new haven to retreat and recharge in calming comfort. The spaces have been carefully planned to enhance relaxation and connectivity — perfect for couples, business travelers, and families.”

Gstrein, who calls the resort an “oasis-like destination,” says designers, led by KES Studio out of Los Angeles, used subtle earth tones like ivory, sand, blue, gray, bronze, and gold, along with natural elements such as wood and stone to capture the desert environment and extend it inside. Room highlights include new artwork, lighting, and carpeting, while upholstered headboards offer reading lights with multiple power charging stations.

Planning a quiet night in? The smallest of the resort’s in-room televisions measures 65 inches.

The Four Seasons also features 15 “specialty suites” across five categories, all with floor-to-ceiling wrap-around views of the Las Vegas Valley and surrounding mountains. The suites range from 1,500 square feet for sunrise or stadium views to the 2,225-square-foot Strip View Presidential Suite and the 3,400-square-foot Penthouse Suite, which sports a spacious living room, pool table, bars, and private gym.

“Our vision was to bring dramatic beauty and grandeur of our surroundings into the guest room experience,” Gstrein said. “With subtle colors and the incorporation of earth elements, woods, and metals, we are reflecting the beauty of our desert home, while keeping true to our dynamic city setting.”
