Scientific Games Corporation has acquired ELK Studios, a Swedish games developer, signed an exclusive deal with Playzido, and bought Authentic Gaming. In September, SG sold its sports betting business, OpenBet, to Endeavor Group Holdings for $1.2 billion and in October, Brookfield Business Partners bought SG Lottery for $6 billion.

Scientific Games Corporation has acquired Swedish games developer ELK Studios. The deal is expected to advance Scientific Games' original iGaming content offering and production capabilities. Scientific Game describes the acquisition as "highly synergistic" and "synergistic". The studio's hit releases include Wild Toro II, Kathmandu and Cygnus. The combination of ELk's games and Scientific games’ OpenGaming ecosystem offers “exciting distribution opportunities” in the US and Canada. It is the latest in a string of content-focused deals.

This deal follows Scientific's recent iGaming purchases of slot developer Lightning Box and live casino provider Authentic Gaming. The company's president and CEO Barry Cottle said the deal is part of its commitment to advance its cross-platform content capabilities.
