Harrah's casino in Columbus, Nebraska, received the go-ahead from the state’s regulator. The developer is ready to begin construction on the building's framework in the coming weeks.

Tom Horn Gaming has agreed a content deal with Condor Gaming Group to supply the latter with its portfolio of online casino games. The agreement sees Condors' nine brands, targeting players in various markets, like Tournaverse, Rembrandt Casino, LuckyBull or Gambeta10 gain access to Tom Horn's popular games, including 243 Crystal Fruits, Fluxberry, or 81 Frutas Grandes.

Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission approved 67 pages of regulations on Friday. The package now goes to the Attorney General and Governor for approval. Columbus Exposition and Racing hopes to start building a $75 million Caesar's horse track and casino in April. The rules are part of the language voters approved on three ballot measures in the 2020 general election. Nebraska voters were in favor of allowing casino gambling at race tracks by a 65% vote share. Currently, only race track casinos are allowed to operate a casino. It's the first time the state legislature has approved the rules. They were written by the gaming commission.

Nebraska voters approved the addition of casino gaming at horse racing venues last November. Regulators are yet to draft the rules and regulations under which this type of activity will be conducted. The Racing and Gaming Commission is in the very early stages of creating the regulatory framework underwhich future casinos would operate. Governor Pete Ricketts signed a separate measure that authorized sports betting.

Caesars Entertainment Inc has been selected to build and operate a Harrah's casino and racetrack in Columbus, Nebraska. The development will be worth circa $75m and is expected to be complete in late 2022. Live horse racing has already been part of the Columbus community for more than 75 years. CER board members have operated Live Racing and Simulcasting at Ag Park since 2013. Tom Reeg, CEO of Caesar Entertainment, commented that the casino industry and the horse race industry are closely related.

Caesars Entertainment Inc. announced a multimillion-dollar investment at Caesers Palace. The renovation of the original main entrance, main casino and porte-cochère will be complete by New Year's Eve.

Caesars Entertainment has kicked off the month named after its most famous brand ambassador Julius Caesar.

Community involvement was the focus of casino negotiations. Caesars Entertainment was chosen over other potential partners. CER and Caeres will build a casino racetrack northwest of Columbus.  Indiana Grand is part of a Caer empire that includes more than 50 properties in the United States, Canada, the UK, Egypt and South Africa. The Flamingo andCaesar's Palace in Las Vegas are familiar names in this company.

Columbus Exposition and Racing and Caesars Entertainment have announced a partnership. Caeresars will build and operate a Harrah's casino and racetrack in Columbus, Nebraska. The approximately $75 million development will feature a new one-mile horse racing surface, a 40,000-square-foot-casino and sportsbook with more than 400 slot machines and 20 table games, as well as a restaurant and retail space. It is expected to be complete in late 2022. The board members of CER have operated Live Racing at Ag Park since 2013.

Columbus Exposition and Racing is making an announcement this week regarding a planned casino project. Voters approved three ballot measures in November that authorized casino gaming at Nebraska race tracks. CER has been in negotiations with three potential operators. The winner will fund a $50 million project that includes a casino, race track, event center and 4-H pavilion. Nebraska has six horse racing tracks where casino gambling can become a reality. Hastings doesn't have any plans. Construction is awaiting the creation of a state gaming commission and approval of the governor. It is expected to be completed in 2023.
