A 49-year-old foreign woman was detained for alleged gambling activities after police raided a tailor shop in Kampong Lamunin, Tutong District on Saturday. The woman is accused of being involved in the 4D lottery and the shop believed to be a place to collect bets.

Bangkok Post: New Thailand casino complex study ready

The House committee is studying a proposal to open a casino-entertainment complex in Thailand. It will submit its findings when the House reconvenes next month. 17 detained in gambling bust

Seventeen foreigners and permanent residents were detained for suspected involvement in illegal gambling at a house in Tungku, Kampong Mata-Mata Gadong on January 6. The individuals, aged 17 to 56, were arrested in an 11pm raid by a team from the RBPF’s Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Unit.
