Borgata Online player in New Jersey hits $3 million jackpot playing Bison Fury

iGaming and sports betting operator BetMGM announced Monday thata Borgata Online player in New Jersey has won $3 million on a $2 bet while playing Bison Fury, making it the largest jackpot awarded by BetMGM thus far in 2023.
The New Jersey player, who chose to remain anonymous, hit the progressive jackpot in October. The winner has enjoyed playing at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City for over twenty years, according to the company.
The winner’s plans for the jackpot include "early retirement, fun, and travel which hopefully includes a trip to Las Vegas for the first time," as per a press release.
Developed in-house by Entain, Bison Fury is available exclusively on BetMGM casino platforms. The game is a five-reel, ‘All Ways’ slot that features an American wilderness theme, over 1,000 possible ways to win in the base game, and free spins.
Two other players won large jackpots in October on exclusive BetMGM slots. A slot player from Michigan won $1.2 million at BetMGM on MGM Grand Millions on a $5 bet. A West Virginia player at BetMGM was rewarded $746,000 on a $2 bet also on Bison Fury.
