iGaming and sports betting operatorBetMGM has announced that the company awarded nearly $75 million in progressive jackpots during the first half of 2023. In 2022, BetMGM awarded over $104 million in jackpots and is confident that it will shatter that number this year. Slot titles created by Entain, MGM Resort's venture partner in BetMGM, and available exclusively on the brand's online casino were the source of $30.4 million of the $74.7 million prize total.

BetMGM notes that its online casino is home to over 1500 games and one of the "largest state-by-state exclusive jackpot networks" in the US. The network currently consists of over 20 games, including popular titles such as MGM Grand Millions, Bison Fury, Mirage Mega Magma, Loot’En Khamun, and the Dead Sea Scrolls. Slots by suppliers such as IGT, NetEnt, and Light and Wonder accounted for the remaining $44.3 million of the jackpot total.

Oliver Bartlett, director of online gaming at BetMGM, said: "BetMGM is proud to award these big progressive jackpots to our players. Curating an engaging selection of jackpot titles is a key focus and our progressive jackpot pools offer fantastic options to all players. We look forward to eclipsing last year’s total and raising the standard of the overall online casino experience."

BetMGM distributed the highest total of jackpot prize money in Michigan ($27.4 million), followed by New Jersey ($23.2 million), and Pennsylvania ($18.8 million).
