Ukraine poised to become Eastern European Las Vegas, gaming experts say (WEBINAR)

Gambling experts gathered to discuss the legalization of gambling in Ukraine and its consequences on the Ukrainian economy in the Kyiv Post's studio, on Aug. 17. Brian Bonner, chief editor of the Kyiv Post (L), was moderating the discussion among Boris Baum, first deputy chief of the Expert Advisory Council of the Ukrainian Gambling and Lotteries Regulation Commission (center-L), Roman Syrotian, co-CEO at Parimatch Tech (center), Anton Kuchukhidze, chairman of the Ukraine Gambling Council (center-R) and Oleksiy Kucher , head of the State Regulatory Service of Ukraine (R).

Ukraine’s casinos could turn the country into the biggest gaming market in Eastern Europe, according to Anton Kuchukhidze, chairman of the Ukraine Gambling Council. 

“Ukraine could become an Eastern European Las Vegas,” Kuchukhidze said during “Legalization of Gambling in Ukraine,’ a discussion streamed online from the Kyiv Post studio on Aug. 17.
