The Asian Casino Sector Gets Its Own Awards Program

The IR Academy Awards are coming for the first time next month in Macau. The Academy was formed by Inside Asian Gaming at the beginning of this year.
IAG created the IR Academy Awards to recognize the contribution of IR operators to the industry. The inaugural awards program will be held at The Londoner Macao in Macau on October 12. It is sponsored by Sands China Ltd. IAG has other initiatives being considered. Anyone who has worked in the Asian gaming space for two years or more is eligible to apply for membership.
IR Academy Awards are taking place on September 27th. There are only two categories: Industry Rising Star and Industry Icons. Nominations are being accepted now through September 14th and the final nominees will be announced on the day before the event. All winners are chosen by popular vote. The event is free of charge.
