Star Trek Slot Debuts at BetMGM Casino in Michigan

BetMGM is diversifying its casino offerings with a slot game from an acclaimed sci-fi franchise.
British game studio Atlantic Digital has partnered with BetMGM to exclusively launch Star Trek: The Next Generation — an online slot game based on the popular television series and media franchise. BetMGM Casino, which has iGaming operations in four states across America, is currently offering Star Trek: The Next Generation in Michigan with plans to bring the product to its existing markets.
“Star Trek is one of the biggest media franchises of all time. We are honored to expand its universe to iGaming,” said BetMGM VP of Gaming Product & Content Oliver Bartlett. “It is another perfect addition to our ever-growing library of games that can’t be found anywhere else in the United States.”
The launch of Star Trek: The Next Generation is the result of a partnership deal signed in September 2023 between BetMGM and Atlantic Digital. As part of the pact, BetMGM is the exclusive provider of Atlantic Digital’s proprietary games in the U.S., which are based on films and television titles.
Star Trek: The Next Generation adds to a growing collection of new offerings by BetMGM Casino. In March 2023, the operator debutedWheel of Fortune Online Casino in collaboration with IGT. Its initial launch in New Jersey adds to existing Wheel of Fortune branding that has been prevalent across brick-and-mortar casinos for more than 25 years.
BetMGM Casino further bolstered its portfolio in December 2023 with the launch of NHL Gold Blitz — the league’s first endorsed online slot game. The game features logos from all 32 NHL teams and builds on a previous NHL branding partnership secured in 2022.
As of Jan. 8, BetMGM Casino offers more than 1,500 online casino games to its customers.
