Smith's to offer vaccine clinic at Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Smith's Food & Drug Stores will host a vaccination clinic next week at the Orleans Hotel & Casino.
Smith's said it's partnering with Boyd Gaming to host the clinic from Monday, Oct. 16, through Wednesday, Oct. 18.
The clinic, which is open to the public, will run from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day in the parking lot facing Tropicana Avenue.
Available vaccines will include influenza, COVID-19 and RSV, among many others.
Immunize Nevada will cover the cost of the flu shot for the first 100 uninsured patients. The Kroger NASCAR show car and NASCAR mobile vaccine trailer will offer $5 off groceries with an eligible flu shot.
"We strongly recommend everyone 6 months and older to get the flu vaccine now to help provide protection during the upcoming holidays and winter months, when flu cases typically increase," Rich Boman, a Smith's pharmacist, said in a news release.
