TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Several slot machines were removed from Pour Decisions Saloon in Bradenton following a month-long investigation into suspected illegal gambling, police announced Wednesday.

Throughout March, detectives with the Bradenton Police Department and Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents conducted several undercover operations at the saloon at 430 12th Street W.

According to the police department, Pour Decisions Saloon had four arcade-style video slot machines that customers used for illegal gambling.

After obtaining a search warrant, detectives and the Division of Alcohol, Beverage, and Tobacco removed the machines. None of the customers or employees were arrested; however, the investigation is ongoing.

In the state of Florida, it is illegal to operate a slot machine without the proper gaming control commission-issued license.

Operating a slot machine without a Florida Gaming Control Commission-issued license is against the law. Business owners can face up to five years in prison and be fined as much as $10,000 per machine for failing to comply.
