Sapphire Las Vegas wants to introduce poker machines to its offer.

Sapphire Las Vegas has to secure a country approval and a state gaming license. The Clark County Commissioners are reluctant to supply the club with a license because of an old regulation. They will review the application in October or later. The commissioners will decide whether to grant an exception to the rule.

Sapphire Las Vegas wants to diversify its offerings to reduce the losses caused by COVID-19. The club applied for a restricted gaming license and wants up to 15 gambling machines. Nevada's Resort Association is worried that if the commissioners grant Sapphire an exception, it will set a precedent for other strip clubs.
