Tonight’s Powerball jackpot stands at a $412 million annuity that is worth $194 million in cash. Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot stands at a $377 million annuity that is worth $175.4 million in cash.
“When both the Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots keep climbing like this, players start to dream bigger and bigger,” said Mark Michalko, executive director of the N.C. • $13.6 million: That’s the estimate of how much money has been raised for education during the current Powerball and Mega Millions jackpot runs.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million. The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302 million.
