Gaming revenue in the state of Pennsylvania continues to rise, with some online casino providers gaining increasing traction in the market, such as Caesars, which has seen a marked increase in action in terms of downloads in recent months.

September 2023 saw online casinos in Pennsylvania reach revenue of $187.3 million, which was a record-breaking month and then followed that up in October with a huge $186.9 million return that almost eclipsed it.

The success of PA online casino is way above expectations and experts in the field are lauding the work done by Caesars in this area. Eilers & Krejcik Gaming, specifically Chris Krafcik, Adam Kregcick, and Brad Allen have praised efforts made by the brand, especially their move to produce a standalone Caesars Palace app.

The EKG Live commented on the work put in by stating;

“The casino embedded within the core Caesars Sportsbook app has improved significantly in our proprietary testing, and our preliminary interactions with the newer Caesars Palace app were generally positive.”

While Caesars CEO Tom Reeg opened up on the reason for doing so back in August,

“It’s a casino-first entry into our digital business. And in terms of capabilities, bonusing, segmentation, proprietary games and live dealer, it is lightyears beyond what we’ve been operating under.”

“The casino embedded within the core Caesars Sportsbook app has improved significantly in our proprietary testing, and our preliminary interactions with the newer Caesars Palace app were generally positive,” Reeg added.

In terms of downloads of apps since August, Caesars represents a whopping 7% of the total, and this has been aided by the good reviews it has received since it went live.

On the subject of popular gaming services in the online space in Pennsylvania, BetMGM Casino’s Buffalo slot game is now one of the most popular in the entire country, with the game recording the highest GGR percentage. of 4.55%, putting it ahead of IGT’s blackjack table game.

BetMGM’s CRO, Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost, commenced on the game a couple of months ago, stating,

“BetMGM is honored to be the first online destination for Buffalo. We are ready to bring the thrill and excitement of Buffalo to our players in New Jersey and additional states this fall. Anaxi captured the fast-paced elements of Buffalo which players love and are now able to experience in the palm of their hands.”

Due to the ultra-competitive online casino market, not just in Pennsylvania but across the United States, every individual action taken by a provider can have a massive impact on the cut of the pie they manage to get their hands on.

A successful online casino can not be seen to be standing still and must always be looking at ways to attract new customers whilst also keeping their existing players happy, which is a delicate achievement at the best of times.

On that score, it’s clear that household names like BetMGM and Caesars are managing to walk that fine line just fine right now.
