Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board fined three casino operators $284,000 Wednesday for violating state regulations.

Boyd Gaming Corporation received a $150,000 fine for not disclosing facts relating to the suitability of a principal. Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association received two fines totaling $120,00 for permitting a self-excluded patron to participate in gaming activity, become intoxicated and cause damage to other vehicles. Valley Forge Convention Center Partners, LLC, operator of Valley forge Casino Resort, received $14,500 for an underage gaming incident. Sugarhouse HSP Gaming, LP, owner of Rivers Casino Philadelphia, got no fine but was mandated to implement additional security and surveillance requirements. Snow Shoe Travel Plaza, Inc. and Pit Stop Travel plaza, inc., surrendered their VGT establishment licenses and principal licenses for non-adherence to various licensing requirements, but received no fines.

Boyd Gaming Corporation was fined $150,000 for not properly informing the PGCB about the surrender of a Principal’s license in 2020. Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association was also fined for $70,00 for allowing a patron to enter Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course and gamble. Valley Forge Convention Center Partners, LLC was fine $14,500 for letting a 20-year-old male gamble at table games. Sugarhouse HSP Gaming, LP was given a consent agreement in lieu of the fine for leaving two children in a parked car in the Rivers Philadelphia Casino parking lot.
